As the principal, I am honored to extend a warm welcome to our school nestled in the heart of Spring Branch. Our vibrant school community is propelling our students and their families towards a brighter future, and I am thrilled to have your child join this journey of growth and progress.

Our high school serves 9th to 12th grade students, with an enrollment of about 1,900 students. As Raider Nation, we believe in inspiring young minds EVERY DAY. Our school has over 150 faculty members and offers advanced courses in addition to standout athletic programs, top-tier visual and performing arts programs, and a variety of school clubs for students. 

We strongly encourage students to participate in extracurricular and co-curricular programs, including athletics, fine arts, mentoring, and volunteer programs. Our UIL sponsored athletic programs include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.

Northbrook is a place where the combined efforts of a dedicated faculty and diverse student body create an ideal setting for students to excel. With a focus on empowering students to realize their full potential, we are committed to cultivating the Core Characteristics of a T-2-4 Ready Graduate in all learners, preparing them for success in college, career, and the future workforce.

Our students and faculty log thousands of volunteer hours in activities such as reading and tutoring students in elementary feeder schools, repairing and remodeling homes for the elderly, and cooking meals for the homeless.

Our school is supported by the Ray Childress Academy Foundation, which helps students graduate, be involved in their communities, and participate in field trips and other activities. Additionally, students and their families are supported by Communities in Schools (CIS).
