- Many students come from low
income families.
- Most students were accepted
into the Academy based on recommendations from 8th grade counselors
and principals.
- Some students join the
Academy based on teacher recommendations or the student request to
join. Some become a part of CFA because their siblings are already members.
- Students may request to stay
in the Academy all 4 years at Northbrook but must complete minimum
standards: volunteer service, acceptable grades, & meeting
attendance and behavior criteria.
