ALL ABOUT ME
My name is Emily Mabry.  I graduated from Wheaton College in Chicago in December 2004 with a degree in mathematics and secondary education.  I am certified to teach in Illinois and Texas.  Currently, I am in my second year of teaching Algebra I at Northbrook High School.

 

Algebra I

OVERVIEW: This algebra course will help you to improve your problem solving skills and learn to think creatively and critically about your world in a logical and mathematical way. 

You will accomplish this through:

* Problem solving activities in real-life situations * Cooperative learning group work * Calculator and computer-aided learning and exploration * In-class and out-of-class written assignments and projects * Lecture, discussion, and guided practice * Reading textbooks and other materials
